- Check the edition year. Make sure the book covers the current test format. Outdated editions can actively hurt you.
- Look at the practice questions. More practice questions = better. At least 2 full practice tests in the book.
- Read the 3-star reviews. These are usually the most honest — 5-star reviews are often written right after purchase, and 1-star reviews are often about shipping.
- Don't buy more than 2 books. One comprehensive guide + one question bank is plenty. More than that and you'll spread yourself too thin.
